Thomas the Kitten is a tale of true compassion, by many involved.

Last June, a stray and severely injured 8 week old kitten (now known as Thomas) was picked up by Cleveland Animal Care & Control. The kitten’s paw was very damaged, and Thomas was in a great deal of pain. This kitten needed medical attention immediately in order to survive. Because of Friends of the Cleveland Kennel’s funding for trauma cases like this one, there was no hesitation and little Thomas was rushed to the veterinarian. After the exam, it was determined in order to save his life that he needed IV antibiotics and a leg amputation. After hospitalization, Thomas was released the next day to one of our cat rescue partners, Tails from the City, to recover in foster care and later be placed up for adoption.

Thanks to your support we can continue to save cats like Thomas, by providing them with the necessary medical care they need. Your donation helps to give them the second chance they deserve!
